    Default basic start off question

    If i start of in a 3d view to draw a rectangle and it is drawn in what would be a top view'

    the floor,

    how can i change it in the same 3d perspective view for it to appear in either the left, right, front or back view?

    I work for a specialty chemical manufacturer. I do a little bit of everything from P&IDs to civil to architectural and structural.

    You can use the Viewports command, Four: Equal and 3D setup to see the top, front, right side and an isometric view of your floor plan. But be forewarned that if your walls have no height there may not be much to see in a couple of the views.
