There is a Make Part from Block button in the Layout Tools toolbar, but I can't press it. Can someone explain to me how this button work. In this video, this user can convert the block layout into assembly/part. The video is quite blur, I can't figure out how he did it. I would like to convert my 2D simulation to 3D for better viewing. bhamze Posted October 6, 2010 Share Posted October 6, 2010 Start a new assembly then click layout, from there create your sketch/sketch's then make into blocks. Once blocks are created right click on block in feature tree and select Make Part From Block. From here you will have two options to constraint block (Project or On Block). If you need information on the constraints, search Make Part from Block in help menu. After your selection is made right click on part in feature tree and click edit part, here is where you can add an extrude feature to your sketched block.
