Inserting .pdf into Autocad

Recommended Posts

Hello, I've been inserting a .pdf into my one Autocad drawing and can't seem to figure out how to insert it and be able to adjust it's size. I insert the .pdf using Insert OLE Object but once I insert it I can't adjust the scale. Is there a way to insert a .pdf and make it so I can adjust the size of the file?

Thanks

Do you have Photoshop? You can open the pdf and save it out as a jpg and then insert that into Autocad using the IMAGEATTACH command.

If you don't have Photoshop, you could try Gimp. It's free.

Nevermind, I figured it out. For future reference:

Save .pdf into an image file.

Type in IM in command line.

Click the down arrow and attach image.

You can select what size to make it and where to put it.

As soon as you posted this I literally figured it out hahah. Thanks though. I just used Paint and it worked beautifully.
