bonehead411
I'm having issues similar to the OP's in the following threads: http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?52294-Hatching-in-autocad-2011 http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?5100-Hatching-Issue only for me, it's gone a step further. As soon as I invoke the hatch command CAD freezes. The only way out is to 'End Process' through the Task Manager. This also happens if I open an existing drawing and attempt to select a hatch. This wasn't always an issue, as I remember being delighted with the hatch preview function: http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?52673-AutoCAD-2011-Hatching-Issue I've performed a repair installation to no avail, so: before I bite the bullet and go down the full re-installation route, does anyone have any advice/knowledge to share which may help? Updates are fully current.
ReMark
No other "problems" other than those related to the use of the Hatch command? Update 1 for 2011 installed?
bonehead411
Update 1 installed. There are some other 'minor' issues, but I've come to expect that from Autodesk. You know the kind of things which are so trivial they pale into insignificance when held up against what the software does well. But so far, only the hatch/gradient commands are causing me headaches.
