TheZman
i want to make a map on autocad 2009 from image taken by google earth how should draw a map from that image? A nifty little program from Autodesk labs called Google Earth Extension. It makes it easy to take an image from google earth and insert it into an autocad drawing. you can then digitize lines or what ever you want from that image. heres the link http://labs.autodesk.com/utilities/google_earth_extension_beta/ NOTE: It requires a login with the website. Luckily registration is free.

If you have CADMAP, you can assign a coordinate system too and it will geo-reference the map for you.
