willow123
Am experiencing problems with thje above issues. My drawing inb model space looks fine, however when I try to set it up to plot in paper space, via the properties box with the "correct scale factor" and the drawing becomes very large. The only scale I can get the drawing to plot at is "fit to page", which is no scale. I have tried to set the scale on the "page setup" and the same thing happens. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you for your time.
ReMark
Did you assign a scale to your viewport? See this link and specifically look at the section re: Zoom Factors for Paper Space Scaling. http://academics.triton.edu/faculty/fheitzman/space.html
willow123
REMARK; Thanks for responding. I tried to set the scale via the Properties Box according to the XP factor (1/64xp) and the model in the viewport was blown up to , as per the list to 6400.00. ???? ReMark
All objects in model space were drawn at FULL size? Yes/No/I don't know?
Dana W
What are your units? modelspace and paperspace. The scale ratio should be one paperspace unit = many modelspace units. Remember, your paperspace is the size of your paper, so say your paper is 300 mm or 36 inches wide, then either use mm or inches for the paperspace units. I have a drawing plotted at 1:100 scale, that is 1 inch:100 feet. My paperspace units are inches and my modelspace units are feet.
