Bogbadbob658
Could someone please give me help in changing the F12 key. I want to use it set the UCS to object. I assume it done be amending the CUI. I found the shortcut for the current use of the F12 which reads '^P'_.dynmode $M=$(if,$(>,$(getvar,dynmode),0),$(*,$(getvar,dynmode),-1),$(getvar,dynmode))' Could some one tell me what I need to type to set the UCS to object. Many thanks
ReMark
Isn't that already an option found on the Ribbon's View tab > Coordinates panel?

rkent
Yes there is but I use it a lot and want to save the 3 clicks with 1 press I think Remark was letting you know where to find the information you seek. The macro line is ^C^C^R_ucs _ob First create a command in the lower left of the CUI named UCS, Object, use that macro. Then go to the shortcut keys in the upper left portion of the CUI and drag your new command up into there, finally pick on the command in the upper left, move to the right, find the Access, Keys section, click once, now pick the ... to the right, finally (with caps lock off) hit the F12 key. Save and try it out.
