Hi can anyone tell me how to select Monochrome so I get my drawings printing in black in only? I can't seem to be able to select this function?

Can anyone advise me on how to set line weights; it appears that no matter what size I set them too they come out at random thickness...

You will have to use a plot style. It's in the plot styles list in your page layout 'modify' tab. monochrome.ctb.

may not be able to with lt

What? Are you gonna make me guess? Hmmmmm. I suppose I am thinking within my own drawing style, at that.

OK, then. I guess it is up to the OP to tell us whether or not layouts are being used, along with whatever other circumstances might be affecting the drawing.

Lt supports same plotting as full.

Hint PLOT open the pen tables on right side pick any table pick colour 1 holding "shift" scroll down pick color 256 make all white save as "mymono" set pen thicknesses etc but all will be black.

See your other post we plot by colour each colour is given a pen thickness within the range we want to use ISO 0.18 -> 0.7

Its difficult to do with LT, I use LT and am constantly having problems with this type of thing. I usually get someone else in the office who has full Acad to do it for me.

AFAIK, LT has same plot abilities as Full.

AutoCAD Tip - Plot in Black and White ala Monochrome Scroll to the bottom of the tutorial and the monochrome.ctb can be downloaded if you do not have it.
