Terrible Hatch pattern issues!

Recommended Posts

I am a bit old fashioned and like tile joints to line up every now and again. The pattern in the OP's joints completely baffles me, so every one who posted a pattern deserves extra credit.

When you think about this pattern as a long path or corridor and the horizontal joints follow the length, the short staggered ones give you kind of natural random pattern of laid stones; it's not as bad as you described and has some kind of regularity.

You have got better eyes than me, because I did not see that the joints in the 600 long tile lined up in the OP's picture, but they do in yours :?

Thankyou thankyou thankyou thankyou!!!!!!:D

the patterns are just what I needed!!! I don't need grout lines as this is a representation of the tiles on a floor finishes plan.

Just when I thought it could not be done!! Yeah!
