MisterJingles
I get this error message when I open ACAD, could someone tell me how to resolve it please? I realise its telling me a Library file has been moved or renamed but I don't use Libraries and would just like this message to stop coming u on startup. Is there a way to determine which Library and to reassign it to its correct directory?
ReMark
Have you tried locating the file (ansi.gdb) the program is looking for? Have you tried a REPAIR? Edited June 7, 2012 by ReMark
MisterJingles
Thanks ReMark I have now searched and the file doesn't exist on my PC. I have never run a REPAIR, I searched and found this topic where you offer some info http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?22298-Autocad-2009-installation My question is how much does it change? You say it restores defaults, will I lose my pallettes, shortcut keys etc? If so I may just live with the error message.
ReMark
REPAIR This option replaces all registry entries that AutoCAD initially installed and restores AutoCAD to its default state. Edited June 12, 2012 by ReMark
nukecad
You could try putting a dummy (empty) file called ansi.dgb in the directory where Acad is looking for it.
