MisterJingles
Hi all Something strange is happening with my ACAD at the moment. If I click an object and then push ESC to remove focus from it, ACAD does not register the ESC command. So I cant undo the focus on that object. I have to close and reboot ACAD to solve the problem. Its happened 4 or 5 times now over the past 2 days and I need to resolve it. I am running the latest Autodesk update. Any ideas? Rob
Dadgad
Might the user PROFILE which is current be the wrong one? PICKFIRST set to 0, maybe? DIMSPACE......no, that last one is a joke. Been there not done that!
Tiger
Is the object still selected or is it just that the hightlight (dashing and/or thickening) is still on the object? It happens to me sometimes that the hightlight is still there even if I hit Escape. Usually it happens when I am using a more or less poorly written lisp/script... Can you use the ESC-button to abort a command? If so, can you after you have hightlighed an object, start a command (such as UNDO) and the hit ESC to cancel it all? fuccaro
Try REGEN or REDRAW.
MisterJingles
It only started happening 2 days ago and happens randomly (or so it seems) Tiger the object shows the grips, ESC, REGEN, don't work. Although I do get that other form of selection (often), but I dont work with LISPs. fuccaro I will attempt a REDRAW when next it happens. Dadgad I will also check your suggestions when next it happens.
