busseynova Posted September 7, 2012 Share Posted September 7, 2012 Bit of an odd quirk that has been happening since I had my computer formatted. I use keyboard input a lot and when entering minus values, the selection jumps to the programme 'shell' of autocad and stops typing in the command line. When click back into the command line, the minus symbol appears! To make it even more mysterious this problem seemingly randomly appears and goes away! ReMark Posted September 9, 2012 Share Posted September 9, 2012 That sounds very unusual. Are you saying that everyone who uses Arch 2009 has the problem? Because, if the answer to that is "no" then it leaves open the possibility of having a setup that does not exhibit the strange behavior. We have to figure out what the setup entails. Are you current with all service packs? What OS are you running? What anti-virus program are you using? Have you tried a different keyboard? Would a key mapping program help resolve the problem?
