hi all,

I am new here. I'm not sure if this is allowed, so please correct me if it's not. I am in need of someone to make me a CAD 3D model of a stuffed animal. All I have currently are some basic cartoon pictures. I need top, back, and side views. I will gladly pay. Can anyone help?

(Again, sorry if I'm not allowed to "hire" on this forum)

You will most likely want to learn Mesh modeling.

Attach your images (or url links) here.

Search for the class titled - Making a Mesh of Things here http://au.autodesk.com/?nd=classes

If you would like to hire me for help, the fee is $130/hr USD, 4hr minimum.

Might be able to get the same help here for free.

Thanks for the response. That's definitely out of my budget. I found that I can have the actual, physical prototype made for $500, so I was hoping to have the 3D model made for much less than that.

Download the attached file. Mesh.dwg

Type meshsmoothmore and click the object.

Hit spacebar and select the object again.

Type convtosolid and select the object.

Type stlout and select the object.

Send the stl file to your 3d printer.

This should give you some ideas about Mesh Modeling.

Let me get this clear, are you looking for someone to teach you how to model the stuffed animal or are you simply looking for someone to do the job for you?

Is this a school assignment? More information is needed.

I don't have the CAD program. Regardless, I haven't the slightest idea how to use it. I need someone to make it for me. It's a stuffed animal of a cat, white and tan in color. It's not a school project. Rather, it's something I'm looking at turning into an actual product in the future.
