Perifanos
Hello everyone. Since I am new to autolisp, please bare with me. I need to do the following: Create some choices (big|med|small) and have the user select his choice with the mouse which then will be written in a variable. Any suggestions? Lee Mac
Look into the getkword & initget AutoLISP functions. My tutorial here may also be of interest. Welcome to CADTutor Perifanos
BIGAL
If you want mouse pick then you will need a dialouge box, a couple of choices do you want a square with a label or a "radio button" with label beside ? please advise There are other methods such as cheat way using a yes no cancel box (SETQ reply (ACET-UI-MESSAGE "Big Med Small Choose Button " "Perifanos Dialog" (+ Acet:YESNOCANCEL Acet:ICONWARNING) ) ) ;; Yes = 6 ;; No = 7 ;; Cancel = 2 (cond ((= reply 6) (ALERT "Big") ;; More 1 ) ((= reply 6) (ALERT "med") ;; More 2 ) ((= reply 2) (ALERT "small") ;; More 3 ) )
Lee Mac
If you want mouse pick then you will need a dialouge box... Or you can use Dynamic Input with getkword:
