I use dual screens (side by side). On the left is whatever pdf I'm modeling from and the right is my laptop display that I use for the CAD work. I use hot keys for all of the commands, so I don't use the ribbon unless it's for something that's rarely used.

Why would I?

Not snarky, just curious.

I've set up 90% of the commands that I frequently use in a way that they're all on the left hand side of the keyboard. One hand on the keys. One hand on the mouse. Never stop moving.

in this case u will be able to get rid of osnap problems

Well, the upload is such low quality once it gets on the forum, not sure what the point is, but here's mine. (contains actual work :D ) Why is it so stinking dark? It doesn't look like that in Photoshop, nor does it even come close to my AutoCad screen.

for using F1 to F12 keys u don't need to see, use or have the ribbon.

u can define each key for one or more osnap.

i do so an am very easy afterwards

if so, tell me to help u do it.

By redefining F1 thru F12 for different osnaps aren't you losing the default functions assigned to them? What's the point then? And the Ribbon is used for more than just osnaps.

Me either, but it's defaulted on the taskbar, so....

Much better now that before! Displays Snap that are on checked, pick to toggle any snap or use for quick access when commands are active.
