    Unhappy Revit roof

    HI,
I have a building with a generic roof and dormers on that roof. The dormer roof has been joined to the main roof. In order to show the roof as Standing Seam Metal Roof I changed the roof to solid sloped glazing. This process unjoins the dormer roof from the main roof and the opening cut for the dormer has disappeared.
Does anyone have solution how to make these join and make an opening cut. I do realize that this is no longer a roof but glazing.

Ummm... I just finished my main roof. I have to put a dormer on there next, so I'm not sure yet. Idk "glazing" yet I hope someone can answer this one. I spent four hours to get my roof to have all the garnish lines the same same level
