Secretagdan
So I have been playing around with the frame generator and I believe that I am getting it figured out. I made an aluminum profile that i can use for a ceiling beam, but the length is longer than what can be manufactured (+20'). I want to break the beam in a particular location & create a bolted connection for assembly. Please note that I work in the tradeshow industry, the ceiling beams are purely decorative & need to break down for shipping and assemble on site. To accomplish this do I need to make 2 separate sketches for the bars, or break the lines in the sketches to accomplish this? I think that I am really looking for the most efficient process to get the results that i need. Thanks in advance for any advice.
Matsui21
I would break the line in the sketch and then go about creating your bolted connection. that would be the easiest way to go about it.
