Advanced West
Hello - we need to make simple wiring schematics and a bit overwhelmed at how many software apps are available. Before jumping in, I wanted to see if you can make a recommendation on wiring schematic program for MAC. Unfortunately, we do not have cad training and "learning" this on the fly. As mentioned, this is for small electrical panels. Thank you all in advance for any suggestions. Brian
ReMark
It sounds like you don't want to spend the time to make your own symbols. Is that correct? How simple is simple? Can you post an image of one of your current schematics? Here's a real bargain for you and it includes 11,000+ symbols for just about everything one might need. http://www.cadandgraphics.com/tumacdev5.html?gclid=CMelitSBj7kCFQee4Aodp3gAgw
Advanced West
This is a sample of the electrical box that we are building. We have hopes to provide a wiring schematic with the box. It has 2 contactors, 4 relays, transformer, disconnect and 2 speed controls. All running to a faceplate. Symbols would be required to show the content. Edited August 21, 2013 by Advanced West added info.
ReMark
I suppose it all depends on your budget and whether or not simple schematics will suffice.
