Sketch in an idw

Hi,

I'm running Inventor 2013 Pro. If I do a sketch in an idw (typically the centre line of a curved slot hole to do a radius dim to) how do I attach it to the features or annotation of the projections so that if I move the views the sketch remains attached and hopefully associated?

You can create a sketch at the sheet level or at the view level, you want your sketch at the view level.

Click on the view - you should see a red boundary.

Do not move your mouse.

Hit s on the keyboard to start a sketch within the view.

You can now Project Geometry from the view to attach your sketch geometry.
