Sbeth85
When you select multiple objects you can go through the groupings by object type, one-by-one, via Quick Properties. My issue is that let's say I want to see all the Lines, only, or all the Plines... Is there a way to do an Object Laywalk the same way there is to do a Layer laywalk? Also, is there a way to Quick Select all the lines in X area without having to go through the whole weird Quick Select picking process? tzframpton
Also, is there a way to Quick Select all the lines in X area without having to go through the whole weird Quick Select picking process? An alternative selection method would be to try the FILTER command. The main benefit, is that you can save your selection criteria for later use. Since it saves to a *.LOG text file, it can be migrated to future versions of AutoCAD so you don't lose the saved selection criteria's you've built up in time. Sbeth85
And an addendum, wouldn't it be cool if QuickSelect worked THROUGH the Quick Prop dropdown menu? So often I wish that when I pick "Dimensions" on the Drop Down it'll select them and de-select everything else!
Sbeth85
tzframpton- dang, filter looks intense. I'ma gonna have to lookup a tutorial on it. Could you tell me an example of what kinda filters you use? The only one I can think of is for Dims.
