bjenk8100 Posted March 19, 2014 Share Posted March 19, 2014 Hello, I cant figure out how my gear is still under defined. I like having it setup so you cant move on until its fully defined. Maybe someone could take a look at my SW attachment and see if they notice something that Im missing. ILoveMadoka Posted March 21, 2014 Share Posted March 21, 2014 A couple options.. 1) On your sketch, dimension 1 set of lines off of the vertical line (the angle) It worked for me. 2) Model 1 single tooth (Extrude) then do a Circular Pattern of the extruded tooth (easier!) (Easier to change later too!) If you do a pattern and the pattern isn't fully defined, oftentimes one or two added dimensions to locate the pattern will do it for you.
