Ste1978
Hi again, I have a sheet metal part on which I have created a lofted flange. The problem I have is that my client wants this making in 8 sections, the deltas and the 4 corners (don't me ask why!). Now, I can achieve this by driving it from a 3D sketch, but I was hoping that I could just somehow rip the lofted flange on each of the 8 points and extract them or split them away individually somehow? What's the best way of doing this? I've attached the sheet metal component. DC001.ipt
JD Mather
First of all- does the client want brake formed or die formed?

Ste1978
Hi JD, Press brake formed Attached is how I have done this. I have created a master sketch, then derive the 8 sections from this. I can't seem to achieve this any other way, even splitting using workplanes doesn't seem to work if I loft flange the whole thing and go down that route Lord knows why they don't just press this in two sections 280 Duct Transition Ref.ipt Curved End1.ipt Delta1.ipt
