richard3009
I'm seeing a few jobs advertised for a P& ID draughtsman I have little experience of such drawings but they look very basic as per CAD complexity and I'm pretty certain I can tackle such a job having experience in electrical schematics etc, are there any standard autocad pallettes for such drawings with attributed blocks etc. Either to download or standard in the latest autocad versions. ReMark
AutoCAD does not come with a tool palette with symbols specific to piping and instrumentation diagrams. Block libraries can be found however via a simple Internet search.
Organic
As like most things, drawing them is the easy part. The hard part is knowing what to draw.
SLW210
AutoCAD P&ID has a Library, you might check out the trial version to get an idea of the standard symbols used and how they are created. Most companies that create P&IDs should already have a set of blocks they use.
