trimmable block? is it possible

i want to create a dynamic block of pipe, presented by a simple polyline.

 

this line need to be stretched and trim but still be a block , because each line contains attributes .

is it possible ?

why trim if you can stretch the from right to left or vice versa from the entity you need to start from, block can be stretchable both ways if dynamic block is set to do so

in this case im talking about thousands of line (they are dripping laterals) , and the area is not a rectangular one...

attach the file so we can all visualize it or go to home depot or any tool local renting outlet in your district and rent the tool to do the job.

 

OP should know by now after all his or her postings that without the file the interpretation one cannot be of any help and might be miles away with the solution

Can you explain in more detail regarding the attributes for each line?

each line represent a small pipe (16mm) and the attributes are the components comes on each line . in the beginning and end

I don't think so but you can always use array command with two lines and extend them and then make into a block.

But for printing purposes one can always opt for a viewport with same pattern as the irregular shape and the block copied even if extends the line it will not show.

 

Or another option could be to fill the outside area of the shape with the lines extending and use the draw order option and a proper ctb setting.
