alijahed
Hi All, How can I see the "Date Modified" of a block in a drawing? Cheers Ali
BIGAL
If I am wrong some one will respond dont think what you want exists.
Dadgad
I tried this yesterday and was unable to find any way to do it, as it is not a property of the block. Without accessing Windows I don't think you will be able to. I am not sure if you could do that with a lisp, or a hyperlink possibly. Dadgad
Don't we all? Might the blocks in question be Xrefs? You profile says Inventor, did you mean for this to be an Autocad question? Just thinking if not, that there might be a way to do it in Inventor.
alijahed
Dude, I am using AutoCAD too and the Block in the question is "Block" not Xref )) Why there is no reference to that?!!

alijahed
No problem mate But there must be somewhere in the background in block properties or something.
Dadgad
In the image you can see the available information which can be accessed by Quick Properties for a block reference. Yesterday I experimented with creating a field and trying to access it through the rather extensive selection of options presented there, but no luck. BIGAL
Only drawing has some stuff about dates, can you add something to the block yes it can be done perhaps in different ways a simple table that you manually change, maybe a xdata link that records block change date, maybe a invisible attribute that you change. A reactor against BEDIT. Maybe explain more why you need to know, do you use revision notes ?
