DonovanPorter
Hi guys has AutoCAD got the functionality to lock a dimension when utilising a breakline in your drawing ? example i have a member that is 6m long and i want to shorten it to fit my A3 page and keep a certain scale so i insert breaklines and now i shorten it but my dimension is now 2m and not 6m anymore. see attachment. i dont want to over ride the dimension because that a recipe for disaster. example.dwg
mikekmx
would be useful so i'm guessing no. if i over-ride dims, i make them a different colour and put a note on the drawing to say what where and why
nestly
Spanning Viewports is probably as close as you can get. (viewport boundaries can be invisible if desired)

That is the same thought I had, when I first saw this post, but was too time constrained to get into it. Even if I had, it wouldn't have been nearly as informative and enjoyable as watching your Camtasia magic!
