mikekmx
Sorry, i couldn't think of a decent title. If i have 2 viewports side by side at the same scale (1 x front elevation, 1 x side elevation), what's the best way to get an object to 'line up' horizontally in the 2 viewports? It's not majorly important so i generally eyeball it, but a better way would be... better.
Tiger
command MVSETUP > ALIGN-option is how I usually do it. Perhaps the ALIGN-command works too, haven't tried it. A better way is always better
Dadgad
Use the Alignspace command, which is an Express tool, but I am guessing that it might not be an option if you are really using Electrical 2008? rkent
Just use plain ole move command, pick one viewport, then snap to the line, then snap perp to the line in the other VP.
mikekmx
cheers all :Di will try the options. knew there had to be a way. and yes, elec 2008, but running in vanilla mode always. seems to have align space in the express tools.
