byk3bep
I need to apply a shape I drew to an arc. The shape is made of simple lines screenshot 1 and i would like to apply it to an arc-screenshot 2...I'm not sure if it can be bent? To be easier to understand...i need an elevation of vault front which has a plaster relief on. Thanks!
JD Mather
I do not know of a way using AutoCAD. It can be done using Autodesk Inventor Engrave>Wrap to Face. (there is also a Bend tool and a Fold tool for similar operations)
zaphod
arraypath might do what you want and a lot of trim/extend.
steven-g
You possibly can't bend it in Autocad, but why not draw it bent to start with, the spline command works just fine round curves, it just takes a bit of setting out for the points, but its a repeating pattern so that's not difficult. scj
My ABW-IMP.lsp can imprint 2d-polylines onto Revsurfs (or onto 3d- Edgesurfs), i.e. onto cylindrical surfaces too. Regards Jochen http://www.black-cad.de worldmap_red0,1.dwg
SEANT
Or, should the bending be like this?
