davidoff
Please if a Guru here will give me the procedure to measure the length of an arc in Solidworks. Bear in mind that I am as new to the software as you can get, so please be as rudimentary as possible. I am using Solidworks 2010 if it matters at all. I enclose a simple example in the jpg format. Thanks in advance, Ahmad Davidoff
JD Mather
Click Evaluate>Measure and select the arc.
SuperCAD
Do you want to measure it or place a dimension for the arc length? For a dimension, start the dimension tool then click on both ends and the arc itself. Remember, there are three clicks that are needed to create an arc length dimension: end point one, end point two and the arc itself.
