stryder444
Sometimes when I widen text blocks that are kept as standard templates on our company's server, large gaps develop between the separate lines that were together on the original text, so consequently there are large gaps in the text when I stretch the text, and on other occasions with different texts, when I widen the text no gaps develop between the lines and so can be modified easily. What I want to know is how do I make it so that when I widen or narrow these text blocks that the words all 'stick' together and that no large gaps in the text occur? I use AutoCAD 2015 LT if that is significant.
Dana W
It sounds like your text is formatted as "Distribute" Which is the justification setting that fills the available space in the box with the text. This is the far right icon that looks like a miniature box of text on your Text Formatting tool bar that appears when you are editing mtext. Simply highlight the text in the box and click another formatting icon.
