Copying toolbars/commands from one profile into another.

My department uses an AutoCAD profile that is primarily 2D drafting. Other departments use a full Civil 3D AutoCAD profile with more bells and whistles. I have a list of items that I want to add to our department's profile. How is this done? Can I do it through the customization panel or not?

In simple terms using the Cui and Config you can set all the parmeters you want and then save a new profile and export so as to inport on other machines, you make a copy of the desktop icon and in the properties change the end bit acad.exe...../p mynewprofile.

The other way is have you looked at using workspaces adding a new one, Bottom left little gear wheel all of our guys&gal have their name so when something realaly goes wrong we can revert back to default and fix, again play with CUI. Its been a while but you need to save your settings as a new CUIX put it somewhere on say each pc, in CONFIG Customization files, main customization file, yourcuix.

I can assure you my workspace menu has stuff from CIV3d and Autocad in one saves jumping across menu's.
