from Excel input to Lisp

Hello friends,

 

I need to fix some dimension value for Lisp from the excel sheet. like a pipe length will be change depends on the diameter of the pipe. and also The sizes will be change ever time depend on the thickness of the pipe.

 

 

please help me.

Any lisp program available pleases post here.

hi, it seems not an easy task

1. length property is read only ie: more info needed

2. the pipe is 2D line or 3D (solid)?

3. if you need to lengthen the "pipe", which end?

you should help yourself to post example dwg, xls , csv etc..

Anxious to see why pipe length would change depending on the size and thickness, the only logical purpose i can figure out to this rule are for heating coils and or HVAC (cfm end output due to the config and area cbm to climate.

Can you please give an example of the spreadsheet you want to use and also an example drawing of the results. With only a vague understandimg your question I suggest you save a copy of your original spreadsheet as a csv file and use Lee's read csv routine found here http://www.lee-mac.com/readcsv.html you can then use the resulting list to create your pipes.
