Anxious to see why pipe length would change depending on the size and thickness, the only logical purpose i can figure out to this rule are for heating coils and or HVAC (cfm end output due to the config and area cbm to climate. With only a vague understandimg your question I suggest you save a copy of your original spreadsheet as a csv file and use Lee's read csv routine found here http://www.lee-mac.com/readcsv.html you can then use the resulting list to create your pipes.
