Cad64
What version of Autocad are you using? Your profile says Inventer 2010. You have several pipes in that file. What exactly are you trying to chamfer? If you just want to chamfer the edges of the pipe, try the CHAMFEREDGE command. I have moved your question to the 3D modeling section: http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?20-AutoCAD-3D-Modelling-amp-Rendering
Dadgad
I looked at your drawing, but not entirely sure what your are trying to do. I suspect that you want to cut the blue pipe with an angle bisector from the center of what looks like a bicycle bottom bracket. I just cut this with a CIRCLE and the SLICE command with the planar Object (circle). If the screenshot loos like what you want to do, then open the attached drawing and you should be able to see what I did. I see that you used a BOOLEAN command, probably SUBTRACT on the first cut you did. If you look at the one I cut with a circle you will see that it is a PLANAR cut, so they won't probably mate how you want them. I assume you would prefer them to both be PLANAR cuts. You probably want to make a matching cut on the other tube, but will need to reposition or recreate that tube, or there will be material missing at the joint from the SUBTRACT command. Or are you trying to relieve the end of the pipe with a chamfer for welding?
