acjam
Hi all, I've been sent a drawing sheet by an architect to use with a drawing of mine. When I load up the dwg, the viewport set up in paperspace has an imperial scale (1/127"=1'0" etc). However, both the architect and myself are in the UK so we need to work in decimal. I've checked the drawing units and they *seem* to be set to decimal, so I'm a bit confused! If I insert a new viewport it still comes up as imperial. How can I switch their viewport back to decimal? Tiger
If you open up your scalelist with SCALELISTEDIT, do you have imperial scales there? You can reset that scale list with the Reset-button - it then loads the default scale list that is set in the registry (if I remember correctly). ReMark
1/127" = 1'-0"? That is not even on the list of normal imperial scales for an architectural drawing. Must have been someone's clumsy attempt to apply a scale to a drawing that barely fit the viewport. Most likely they were not aware of traditional engineering scales such as 1"=200'.
