Ragtime Clown
I have modelled a roof structure and now I want to rotate the individual rafter members so they appear flat on the ground. This technique is used to determine the geometry of the roof. How do I rotate the components as I imagine I will need to reposition the axis each time I try to rotate the rafters in different parts of the roof. lrm
If you want to lie each rafter flat on the ground I think it would be easiest with the ALIGN command. http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-civil-3d/learn-explore/caas/documentation/CIV3D/2012/ENU/filesACR/WS1a9193826455f5ffa23ce210c4a30acaf-5184-htm.html ~Lee
