Marco1979
Im quite lost with this one, did a quick look on the forum....no answers. Im trying to make a custom span direction symbol (new, annotation symbol, category "span direction symbol". Now how do i constrain the arrows(or make it strecchable for that matter) to the edge of my floor. The default symbols do it nicely, mine wont cooperate
PijPiwo
Start with the Generic Annotation family and pick Span Direction Symbol in the Family Category window. Four predefined parameters (top, bottom, left and right) will become available. Use them. Open default revit span direction symbol family and check how they are applied. Make sure that symbolic lines are locked to the ref lines, otherwise symbol will not stretch to the edge of the floor in the project. Hope it helps.
