pkim1230
Hello, First post here, I am interested in making a lisp for what may seem pretty simple. Let's say I have 3500 written in CAD. How can I make a lisp that takes this number and multiplies it by 0.3025 and allows me to paste the result where I want to? I am working in Korea and we use a unit called Pyoung, and it's converted with this equation. It would be nice if I can add "PY" to the converted number! Even more advanced, if I can have an option to add "PY" or nothing at all.
iconeo
Is this for dimensions or just standard text? You have pretty good English for being Korean...
pkim1230
This is just standard text I'm trying to convert. There's a whole list of numbers (like straight out of excel file) that I need to convert one by one and enter it in. I already have a lisp for getting the area and pasting it where I want to. I'm guessing an equation lisp would be easier? Thanks, and excuse me for any grammatical errors. Is this a possible lisp? If so, I'd be distributing this to all of my coworkers as it would be very time saving. Korean government recently banned the use of Pyoung because it's very unprofessional, but everyone still uses it.

pkim1230
This one I don't have it in excel actually. Most of the times I do but when I don't, it's a PITA

Modifying the area lisp you already have to include that option would eliminate that need.
