gsksun4
Hi, I received a vendor drawing and it does have a 3D/isometric view and a 2D view in model space. I had the 3d view up, but don't remember how I got there. I went into tools, drafting settings, snap and grid and turned on iso snap, but that just changes the cross hairs to iso, not the model space view to 3D. Still in 2D view. Using Acad 2014LT. Glenn OK, I got it figured out. Go up top to VIEW, then 3D VIEWS, SW ISO, SE ISO, NE ISO, and NW ISO. While there can go back to Plan View, 2D as well. Thanks. RobDraw
Maybe this will help: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-lt/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2016/ENU/AutoCAD-LT/files/GUID-08F8CD88-6263-48B5-BA32-1C49F17AD17C-htm.html BTW, isometric drawings are 2D in nature, so your question is a bit ambiguous. RobDraw, thank you for the reply. Got it now, see my initial post. Yes, iso is also 2D, but I don't do much in the way of Isometric drawings. My notes were from 2009LT as well, so that didn't help. I really only wanted to switch the plan view to Iso. Thanks again. Glenn
