TheCADnoob
looks like dynamic block change doesn't trigger a regen.. https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-2013-2014-2015-2016-2017/why-do-fields-in-a-dynamic-block-require-a-regen-to-update/td-p/3810285
steven-g
Fields and attributes in dynamic blocks are tricky, it would appear that though a field on its own will update, a field inside an attribute remains linked to the value contained in the block description unless it refers to a dynamic parameter, (and that has it's own set of rules). I added another dynamic parameter and used a formula with fields that reads those values, does this approach what you are trying to do.
