TIMMERS
Hi Folks. Need help please. Just upgraded to autocad 2017. Once a new drawing is started, clean page except for W.C.S. and cross-hairs, with ribbon ect. around the edges. When I select a tool, (any tool) the cross-hairs jump to the origin (0,0) and will not drag away. when I move my mouse the traditional cursor (arrow) appears at the sides allowing me to select other tools and all tabs. but I can'not move the cross-hairs until I press esc. Any ideas please. You will have gathered I am not very IT. savvy, so idiot language and step by step instructions please. Many thanks Tim
rkmcswain
Sounds like SNAP is enabled and its value it larger than the distance across your screen. At the AutoCAD command line, type in SNAP, set it to OFF.
