    Default P&ID Instrument tags

We have just updated from Plant 3D 2014 to Plant 3d 2017
When we try to use the Instrument symbols in P&id 2017 it wont allow input of the information, it will allow a tag to be assigned and then the information is put in the bubble but you also have the assigned tag now which has to be deleted each time.
    This work perfectly in 2014

We were experiencing the same issue, it worked fine in the 2015 version but, then we skipped ahead to 2017 and well ... anyhow found an answer on another forum Arch-Pub.com, to quote dave.wolfe "Go to project setup, P&ID drawing settings, class definitions, instrumentation. Uncheck the read only properties for the loop function and area properties. I've seen those periodically set to read only by the program." Hope it helps ....

Hi and thanks for your reply.
I have taken off the read only in the type, loop and area properties.
This does fix the problem but these properties are read only in 2014.
