Use Block in Array

I have a simple block in my drawing file called "JC". I would like to use the array command to copy this block into a single row with 12 columns. I can do it using the command line but can't seem to find a way to select the block using LISP.

Something like below maybe use vl-add-array

 

(command "INSERT" JC pt 1 1 0) ; pt bottom left etc
(setq obj (entlast))
(command "-array" obj "" "R" 5 5 100 100)

No need for a LISP. The COPY command has an array option built in starting from ACAD 2012.

 

There's a regular copy-array as well as a copy fit-between option (see the links below)
