Hi all,

(Sorry my english is not very good). I'm new in this forum. I'm am searching some help for a project that I even don't know if it's possible. I decided to download the free trial Inventor 2017 to know if this program can help me. There is my project:

1- I would like to enter parameters in an Excel Files (Parameters_name / Units / Equation or Value, etc.) to create an object.

2- From this Excel file, I would like that only in entering this file in the parameters on the inventor file, the object would be created by it self...

Could some body told me if it's possible please?

In the last days, I took an old object that a friend draw. I copied all the setting from the parameters (in Inventor), and I made a copy in an new excel file, with the good ordre in the rows (parameters name / units / values. But when I open a new file (empty) and I enter the parameters, nothing happen.

Thank you a lot for helping in this quest!

Have a good day all! :)

Vasco
