wblocking a drawing with xref

hi

im using acad 2010,

I find wblock (command) most useful to proxy out a performance issued drawings.

as you know after filtering out a drawing with wblock command the drawing loses about 95% of its total weight.

The problem is what I'm gonna do when I have lots of xref connected?

how to wblock all xref connected to a host drawing?

any idea?

Thanks

S

If you remain in the same folder, it shouldn't matter, but it may depend on the path type used and where the xreffed files are located, they should be in a pathed folder or the same folder I do believe.

The XREF Manager can repath them if needed.

For drawing clean up see THIS.

Please stop putting all of your threads in the General Forum, I am getting tired of moving them, I have relocated this one to the AutoCAD Drawing Management & Output Forum.

Adherence to good CAD drafting procedures would avoid 95% of the problem in the first place thus negating the reason to use the WBlock command in the first place.
