Draw 3mm endmill by Mechanical Desktop 2007

Hi expert,

 

I am trying to draw endmill 3.00mm with 2 and 4 flutes. but it seems like a drill when i using a Helix and sweep. I did followed some instruction but it is same result.

Could you please anyone can show me or give me a CAD file so i can scale it

Why would you use Mechanical Desktop when it includes Inventor for free?

Very similar geometry. Should be able to figure out from the twist drill tutorial. How accurate do you need the geometry? Will you be griding end mills or is this just for show?

I am going to use finite element analysis (natural frequency, frequency response.etc ) to the model that I drawn. Could you give me the file of twist drill file in IGES and I will modify to make it for my application.

We will sharing the result after that.
