cadgal Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 Hello I am modifying some pipes, and I have come to a place where I need join two pipes with an elbow, but I can't figure out how! I'm run into this before and ususally end up just faking it,but there has to be a way. I have attached a picture of what I"m talking about. they are at the same elevation, there has to be a way to do this. thanks! Quote
Ritch7 Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 you use a library of parts?... or In vault etc?.. Quote
cadgal Posted August 5, 2009 Author Posted August 5, 2009 Well, I guess I just use the library that came with MEP, not sure what in vault is, so I probably don't use it lol Quote
tzframpton Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 Back one of the pipe's off a few inches, or even a few feet if needed. Then run the other pipe right into the end of the moved one, and they will connect. Quote
OSCGOLF Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 My guess is you'll need to add the "elbow" part to you pipe sequence... it looks like you have an elbow up and to the right... correct? Quote
xincao Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Click one of the pipe's plus grip and snap to another one, that will be connected. -Justin Product Designer of AutoCAD MEP Quote
