Default Inserting OLE Objects in AutoCad 2000 LT

I have inserted a spreadsheet into my drawing. When I try to plot to my 11x17 laser printer, the Preview looks great, but the printed copy blacks out the spreadsheet portion. The only way I can get anything to print is to set the OLE Plot Quality to Photograph, and then the text is blurry and nearly illegible. What am I doing wrong?

What command did you use to insert the spreadsheet?

I Copied the spreadsheet selection to the Clipboard in Microsoft Excel, then in AutoCad selected Edit and Paste. I have tried every Plot Quality option and the only one that produces any image is Photograph, and even then it is distorted. All other Plot Quality options produce a blacked-out image.

There are a couple of options mentioned in this thread found at the AutoDesk Discussion Groups (paste special and dotSoft Tool Pac). Take a look.

Appears dotSoft Tool Pac would work fine however excluding LT.

I could be wrong but, I'll take a closer look later.

Remark:

Thanks! in your link, I found the answer I was looking for. Paste Special and choose Autocad Entity - worked great.
