It seems that ssget doesn't select text objects even if the insertion point is inside the selection polygon or rectangle (CP or C) It seems that it only selects the text if the polygon crosses the actual graphics representation of the text. So for example if the first character is a "1" you need a larger tolerance to select it than for an "8"

 

Why is this? I'm not asking for help I just don't get it why isn't it selected if the insertion is inside the polygon.

 

Of course there is a workaround but that is very resource demanding. If I select all text objects in the drawing and check one by one if their inserion point falls within the area in question.
