toppdogg Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 drawing text on round solid (ie. sphere) Any ideas?? Quote
MikeScott Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Do it in a graphic, and apply it as a material.. but that assumes you're going to render it. Quote
ReMark Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Depends. You could do it as Mike suggests above. Is that the look you're going for? Did you want the text raised above or depressed below the surface of the sphere? That will take a different approach. Quote

Doesn't matter - simply extrude into the sphere or move into the sphere. ...Also how would the body of the text be able to follow the arc sweep of the sphere??? thanks for all your help!! Autodesk Inventor would be one solution. Quote
