DanGates Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 I'm having trouble with a Civil 3D drawing I'm working on, and I can't figure out what's going on. I drew the base elements with no problems, put text on it, and then set up my layout with a viewport and everything showed up fine. Then, when I used DDVPOINT to align the drawing within the viewport, the Mtext gets messed up. The polylines, annotations, and some of the blocks all rotate fine, but all of the mtext and one of the blocks display way off of where they should be. They're still aligned properly, they've just moved. If I click into model space, they still display where they should, and if I move the text from within the viewport, it gets moved in model space. I found that by re-creating the mtext from within the viewport, it displays properly in both spaces, but the block is still doing the same thing, even if I just trace over it. Has anyone had this problem, or have any idea what is going on? Quote
BIGAL Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 Within view port use UCS OB pick a line (try to pick a flat one no z's) to line everything up to, then UCS S give it a name if you want to use it in more view ports, then type PLAN zoom to the desired scale all done! Warning if you pick a 3d line for the ucs object you may get unpredicatble results. Quote
